It’s that time of year again our annual Tailgate is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited!

We’ve got two exciting competitions lined up:

1 Most Creative “Team Table”

2 Best Tailgate Dish

Team Table Competition:

To enter the "Team Table" contest, email DPatters02@JPShealth org Space is limited, so make sure to register your team by Friday, October 18th.

Tailgate Dish Competition:

If you’re bringing a dish, don’t forget to include your recipe (if you’re willing to share)! Please note, you don’t need to have a team table to participate in the dish competition.

And…back by popular demand, the Behavioral Health Band will be performing with some brand-new hits!

We can’t wait to see everyone there for an afternoon of fun, food, and friendly competition!

Heidi Young, our Clinic Nurse at True Worth Behavioral Health, has been an invaluable part of the JPS family since December 2023. With 20 years of nursing experience, Heidi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role Her warm, positive energy lights up every room, and she is a fearless advocate for her patients. Heidi’s commitment to the well-being of those she serves, as well as her dedication to her team, is truly inspiring. A colleague remarked, "Heidi is a dedicated nurse who goes above and beyond for her patients and peers I absolutely adore her!"

We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Women’s Wellness Day at True Worth Medical Home on October 4th! This special event is dedicated to uplifting women in our community and addressing gaps in medical care

To make this day even more impactful, Outpatient Behavioral Health is hosting a Toiletry Drive and we invite you to join us in supporting women in need!

How You Can Help:

We are collecting essential toiletries to distribute at the event Your donations will make a meaningful difference, helping to promote dignity and well-being

Suggested Donation Items:

Shampoo and conditioner

Body wash and soap

Deodorant

Feminine hygiene products (tampons, pads, menstrual cups, etc )

Moisturizers and lotions

Hair brushes and combs

Chapstick Wet wipes

Please Avoid Donating: Razors or weapon-like items

Aerosols

Items containing alcohol

Drop-off Information:

Donations can be placed in the designated bins at any Outpatient Behavioral Health location from September 1st to September 30th

FluClinicAnnouncement–VACCINE’SDUENOVEMBER16th

It’s flu season again – and that means it’s time to get your annual flu shot! Below are the flu clinics for the Center for Behavioral Health Recovery and Central Arlington locations. Please note that all other behavioral health clinic locations are expected to utilize the flu clinics hosted by their respective medical homes. This year we are doing flu clinic for Outpatient Behavioral health a little differently and will require staff to sign up for their preferred flu clinic date within JPS Learn To locate the Outpatient Behavioral Health Flu Clinic, please log into JPS learn and search for “2024 Outpatient Behavioral Health Flu Clinic” Your enrollment is required to guarantee your flu shot, as we will be using the rosters to preorder vaccines for administration

Center for Behavioral Health Recovery Clinic Dates and Times:

October 16th: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM in the Large Conference Room

October 18th: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM in the Large Conference Room

Availability: The flu clinic at the Center for Behavioral Health Recovery will operate on a first-come, first-served basis with enrollment for your spot in JPS Learn Once they are gone, they are gone You will need to schedule a flu shot at another location

Eligibility: This clinic is exclusively for employees working at the Center for Behavioral Health Recovery

Central Arlington Clinic Date and Time:

October 14th: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Eligibility: The flu clinic at Central Arlington is reserved for employees working at that location To receive a flu shot at Central Arlington's clinic, please sign up within JPS Learn If you do not sign up, there will not be a flu vaccine available for you and you will need to schedule a flu shot at another location

Ensuring the health and well-being of our employees is of utmost importance, and we encourage everyone eligible to take advantage of these flu clinics Let's collectively work towards maintaining a healthy workplace

TJC Survey Readiness Reminders

We ask that you do a sweep of your entire clinic before close of business Thursday/Friday and again on Monday morning Please note that if any of the items listed are found in patient care areas, they will be removed and given to your respective leaders for collection Once collected from your leader, please do not bring

these items back into the clinics Leaders will be rounding clinics on Fridays to ensure readiness!

If you have décor hanging on your office door or otherwise, please make sure that you have the packaging indicating that it meets the requirements for décor (must be fire resistant etc ) as listed in policy EC 104 If you do not have the packaging, you will need to remove the items as we cannot validate that they meet requirements

Unapproved heaters or other electronic items. See policy/procedure EC 103/ EC 102 1.

Lotions, hand sanitizers, or other products not on the Material safety data sheets (this includes air fresheners and cleaning products)

Food or drinks should be stored in designated break rooms (food) or hydration stations (drinks only) 4.

Tissue boxes are single patient use Once opened they should be given to the patient or discarded

Our overall department score for August: 78 95 surpassing our stretch goal once again!

The JPS ENLIVEN Wellness Program is excited to offer FREE biometric wellness screenings through Quest Diagnostics® to help improve your health and support your 2025 WellCredit goals! Team members covered under the JPS Cigna medical plan are eligible to schedule a Quest appointment The scheduling link is now open

Registration Instructions:

All participants must register online. Use the registration key: JPS2024. Go to the HR intranet to register and schedule your appointment.

If unable to register online, contact the Quest Service Center at (877) 304-7055 for support

Enter your Registration Key: JPS2024 and click "Register Now " Follow the prompts to complete your registration

Returning Participants:

Log in with your existing username and password If needed, use the "Forgot Username/Password" link to recover your credentials
