We are excited to announce that Narcan Kits will soon be back in stock at our Behavioral Health clinics!

Registration Open Now: JPS ENLIVEN Wellness Program will offer FREE biometric screenings through Quest Diagnostics® from October 1st, 2024, to December 31, 2024, to team members insured by the JPS medical plan. Eligible team members can also schedule an appointment at the Quest Patient Service Center (PSC) for biometric screenings.

Best Table: Football Fanatics Eras (Peer Support and TCs) wowed the crowd with their creative display, showcasing football through the decades in an eye-catching and spirited setup

Best Dish: The PEC team’s Street Tacos stole the show with their mouthwatering flavor, earning rave reviews and securing the title of culinary MVP

The Tailgate Party wasn’t just about the competition it was about celebrating the amazing people who make up our Behavioral Health team. Events like these remind us of the strong bonds we share and the importance of taking time to connect and unwind.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and congratulations to our winners! We can’t wait to see what next year’s tailgate has in store!

Congratulations to Stacey, our November 2024 Employee of the Month! As a Patient Access Call Center Representative for the past two years and a Patient Access Representative for two years before that Stacey has consistently demonstrated excellence, reliability, and teamwork A peer shared, "Stacey does a fantastic job getting messages to me when my clients call. Congratulations to the Viola Pitts Clinic!

The Viola Pitts team delivered outstanding care in October 2024, earning an impressive 86 67 overall rating of care from 30 patient survey responses What an amazing way to kick off the new fiscal year great job, VP Team! Your hard work and dedication to exceptional patient care are truly appreciated

Special Recognition: Stop Six Behavioral Health!

Stop Six Behavioral Health excelled in the Courtesy of Registration Personnel category, with 100% of patients rating this aspect as “Very Good” in October 2024 Congratulations to Angela Brookins, the Patient Access Representative at Stop Six BH, for this outstanding achievement! Thank you, Angela, for your dedication to creating a warm and welcoming experience for our patients.

Department-Wide Highlights

Our overall department score for October was 76.62. While this is a bit lower than previous months, the good news is that FY 2025 has just begun, giving us plenty of time to improve and raise the bar

The annual Holiday Extravaganza is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited especially since we missed out last year due to the infamous “great flood”! Mark your calendars:

Thursday, December 12th

2 - 4 PM

This year’s festivities include two fun competitions:

Best Decorated/Most Creative Wreath (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners)

Best Dessert/Sweet Treat

How to Participate:

Wreath Competition: Contact Lacresha Venters to pick up your wreaths (available starting yesterday!) and return them decorated by **December 10th at 2:00 PM**. We can’t wait to see your creativity shine!

Dessert/Sweet Treat Competition:

Bring your delicious entries to the judging table on December 12th by 2 PM (Feel free to share your recipes if you'd like!)

Plus, get ready to sing along!

Our beloved BH Band will be back to perform some of your favorite holiday hits! We’re looking forward to celebrating the season with all of you see you there!

JIJI JOHNS Jiji truly cares about the patients he serves! A patient who uses a walker reported he was outside in the rain Jiji offered to get an umbrella from his car so he could go to assist the patient and "to help keep him safe from a fall" Thank you-Jiji for always providing exceptional care to patients!

DALILA CAMPOS Dalila trusted her clinical instincts and dug deeper to identify a patient was more acute than original presentation She should be really proud of the great care she provided by ensuring pt got to the PEC safely and waiting with her until she was pulled back for triage. She went above and beyond!
