MESSAGE FROM THE CONGREGATIONAL NURSES… We will NOT be having our usual Fall influenza vaccine clinic this year. We do strongly advise everyone to get the vaccine. It is anticipated people who have had the Covid-19 virus are more likely to get influenza because of their weakened immune system. If you have a compromised immune system, for other reasons as well, check with your personal care physician for advice about taking the vaccine. You can get the Influenza vaccine at physician offices, Walgreens, CVS and Safeway pharmacies.
Also due to the restrictions caused by the Covid-19 virus, we have not been having our monthly blood pressure clinics. If you need your BP checked, feel free to contact one of our congregational nurses and they will be happy to check yours individually. UPDATE FROM THE DHPC TECH TEAM… The Tech Team testing is over! Sadly, we must return the demo camera and controller. Lloyd has enjoyed enhancing our viewing of the live-stream with the additional camera. We so appreciate our vendor that made the two-camera live-stream possible. Thank you, thank you. So, expect the live-stream worship service on Sunday, September 20, to return to a one-camera show. We have begun to receive quotations from our RFQ, and plan to move swiftly to finalize our analysis and make recommendations to Session.
