The organizers of this year's annual Clan of Christ visit (October 16-17) would like everyone to know we have been very diligent in planning all activities with Covid-19 in mind. For months we have been in contact with our sister church's pastor and his wife, Calvin and Eunice, and their Session, in getting updates from the reservation and making plans. We will hold most of our activities outside, including the Saturday evening dinner and program (see “All Church Picnic” for information). Most of the elderlies from Leupp will be staying home this year, along with anyone else who feels they need to self-isolate. Many of those coming down to visit have been vaccinated. The Tribal government encourages the Navajos to wear masks while away from the reservation. We will be following our Session’s guidelines of recommended mask wearing but not required. We encourage all folks to attend the events as they feel comfortable.
