Reader’s Theater Wednesday, June 2nd, 3:00pm
Proceeds to benefit Youth camp tuition fees.

Join us for a fun afternoon of Reader’s Theater where actors present readings of selected scripts without costumes, props or scenery. Our first reading consists of two 15 minute scripts (a melodrama and a comedy) which are accompanied with music and sound effects. Join the fun on Wednesday, June 2nd at 3:00 PM. Anchors Away! DHPC Fellowship presents…
SAGUARO LAKE BOAT TOUR Thursday, May 20th, 8:45am (meet at church to carpool) Cost for tour: $21 (lunch extra)
Spend a fun day at Saguaro Lake with friends from church on May 20th. We will enjoy an 80 minute tour of the lake on the Desert Belle and then we’ll have lunch overlooking the marina in Shiprock Restaurant. The cruise is $21 per person and the lunch is your personal choice. (You may find the menu online at shiprockrestaurant.com) On the day of the event, please assemble at 8:45am in the church parking for carpooling and plan to be gone about five hours. A Thank You Message from Troop Care Ministry We are pleased to announce that, through your generous donations, we were able to donate $4,030 worth of grocery gift cards to the Luke AFB Airman and Family Readiness Center this year. Our annual gift card drive ended in February and, while Covid-19 did bring the cards donated at church down about 15% this year, thanks to the generous cash donations we’ve received we were able to increase the donation of cards by 5%. These things are especially important during the pandemic, and DHPC has come through again for the troops in need in the local community. The Chief of the Readiness Center, Mr. McCarty, couldn’t emphasize enough the difference it makes, especially after Christmas and before Easter. The Troop Care Ministry is exceedingly grateful for the support of the congregation in their donations; we also ask that you say a prayer for those serving our country and thank you for making some of their lives a little better.
THANK YOU DHPC WOMEN! The Chaplaincy for the Homeless collected over 250 purses for homeless women, many of which were distributed on Mother's Day on the Human Services Campus. The purses were donated by several churches in the area with DHPC contributing 75 purses, many filled with surprise gifts in the purse.
