Leader: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast, and it is not proud.
People: Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it does not keep a record of wrongs.
Leader: Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
People: It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always preserves. Love never fails.
Leader: My friends, God is Love. Therefore, let us seek the Lord in prayer.

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Heavenly Father, it is easy to fall into a routine that lacks purpose and meaning for life, and it is very difficult to change. O Lord, forgive our actions that add nothing to the world and the work of Your Spirit. Forgive our words, which instead of making disciples of Jesus Christ, have at times caused people to not want to become Christians. Redirect our lives, as individuals and as a community of faith, that all our words and actions might arise in response to Your love. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON (2 Corinthians 3:18)
Leader: And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Therefore, let us assure one another of God’s pardon.
