Martin VanDyk’s 97th Birthday The family of Martin VanDyk invite his church family/friends to join us on August 15, 2021 from noon – 2PM in the Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Center for a 97th Birthday Luncheon celebration.

Lunch is being catered by Pork on a Fork. Your presence would be such a blessing to Martin and his family and don’t be surprised if you are serenaded by his Harmonica playing talent…even at 97 years old!

WALKING BESIDE MINISTRY In Galatians 6, Paul tells us to “carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” At Desert Hills our Walking Beside team members have been trained and organized to do just that. They provide one-to-one care, prayer, and support to those who are going through a difficult time. What’s Going On In the Parking Lot? AT&T’s subcontractor, Crown Castle, is doing upgrades within our bell tower. AT&T pays DHPC a monthly fee to use our bell tower for their equipment. These fees are used to endow the DHPC Fogdall Scholarship Fund.

During the next 30 days, please take caution as the FC lower parking lot is blocked off and a temporary rubber speed bump is in the upper FC lot to protect the various cables being installed. Once the work is complete, both the bell tower and adjoining equipment building will be closed-up and painted.
