I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. PRAYER OF CONFESSION
My Lord and my God, how hard it is at times to believe that You live and that You are here among us. Life can be so difficult, and the world so unkind. Please forgive my doubt, for I do believe in You. I know that each day You offer to walk with me, no matter what the road is like. Each day You give me the opportunity to follow You and to share Your love. So take my hand, O Lord, and give me faith and life anew. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
