PRAYER OF CONFESSION Lord Jesus, forgive and correct the wrong we have done. We have permitted pride to blind and anger to burn, and we have failed to live the new life you have given to us. Help us forgive others, that we may live as brothers and sisters. Help us to forgive ourselves that we might experience a newness of life. In Your name we pray. Amen. ASSURANCE OF PARDON (John 3:16-17) Leader: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Therefore, let us assure one another of God’s pardon. All: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven. A lawyer asked Jesus, to test him. Next came a Levite who wouldn’t So Jesus told him a story do anything for him. to answer his question: Then one despised, Lonely the way ... Hated in everyone’s eyes, Lonely the traveler one day ... Knelt down to heal and restore him. Robbers attacked him and left him. Tending the wounds of the man, the Samaritan labored.
