Praise be to you, LORD, the God… from everlasting to everlasting. Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.

*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH (Apostles’ Creed) I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, The holy catholic church, The communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen. *GLORY BE TO THE FATHER
PRAYER OF CONFESSION Generous God, You have called us to give ourselves completely to You. Yet, we often hold back part for worldly pursuits. You have given us the gift of time to serve, learn, grow and share. Yet we spend our time serving ourselves. You provide us with opportunity to serve through the talents and abilities we have been given. Yet, we tend to hide our gifts. You have provided us with more resources than most of the world. Yet, we resist sharing because of fear for the future. Lord, in Your mercy, forgive us and help us always to use your gifts wisely and to share them generously. May our heart of generosity bear witness to Yours, O God. For we ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen. ASSURANCE OF PARDON (1 John 1:9) LEADER: If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Therefore, let us assure one another of God’s pardon. ALL: ANTHEM
