CLEAN UP UAE 2011
Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo Conservation Team members took the pledge for a cleaner, greener and more sustainable UAE on December 12, 2011. For the second consecutive year we were thrilled to participate with Emirates Environment Group (EEG) in the 10th annual Clean Up UAE campaign. The massive Clean Up campaign was conducted in 4 Emirates; Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi. According to EEG, in 2010 more than 100 tonnes of waste was collected by more than 20,000 volunteers and 2011 proved an even greater turnout. Our Conservation Team members look forward to participating in this annual tradition in December 2012.
