An Appalachian Summer Festival presents the best in music, dance, theatre, film, and visual arts programming, on and around the campus of Appalachian State University, with a dynamic array of performances in both large-scale and intimate venues. The annual summer event has been named one of the Top Twenty Events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society and attracts an audience of 27,000 to the High Country each summer.
