On Saturday (14/9), around 18 drones and 7 cruise missiles were fired to Saudi Arabia’s most critical oil installations in Abqaiq and Khurais. It temporarily knocked out 5% of the world oil supply. Yemen’s Iran aligned Houthi rebels have said they were behind the attacks. While The Saudi investigations are continuing, Saudia Oil company, Saudi Aramco are confident that their full production will resume by the end of September. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said that world energy consumption is expected to rise 50% from 2018 levels by 2050. The US Energy Information Administration said as it
released its 2019 International Energy Outlook (IEO) on Sept. 24. Worldwide renewable energy consumption increases by 3.1% per year between 2018 and 2050 compared with 0.6% per year in petroleum and other liquids, 0.4%/year growth in coal, and 1.1% per year in natural gas consumption.
