Our family was in new baby mode. We were constantly doing laundry, washing bottles, and changing diapers. And, of course, the baby and I were sleeping at crazy hours. When Chanda brought the paperwork over to list the house, she rearranged our furniture. She straightened up shelves, packed away things that weren't needed and cleaned anything that needed cleaning. She said she did these things to get our house ready to show, but I suspect she was just helping me through an overwhelming period of adjustment. She called later that day and asked if she could show the house. The same day it was listed! It was sold before the "For Sale" sign was ever placed in our yard. I only had to get the house ready to show that ONE time and Chanda did most of that work for me. Chanda is a dear friend and an excellent realtor.
