Venture Sports at Evergreen Lodge Venture Sports is a full-service ski and snowboard rental shop located in the lobby of the Evergreen Lodge. Open 7 days a week all winter long to accommodate your ski and snowboard rental needs. Also offering complimentary ski storage and a small retail selection for your last-minute ski day necessities. Stop in at Venture Sports on your way to the slopes to get geared up!
Transportation and Ski Lift Information We encourage you to take advantage of the free in-town shuttle bus service provided by the Town of Vail. The closest bus stop is found by exiting on the lower level and following the path to the Dobson Ice Arena/ Public Library area.
Getting to the ski lifts: Both Gondola One in Vail Village and the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead are within walking distance. However, the access is even quicker and easier via the in-town shuttle bus system. Just exit via the lower level and follow the pathway to the Dobson Ice Arena/ Public Library area to catch the free shuttle going either direction. Buses run every 5-10 minutes during ski season and on adjusted schedules in summer, spring and fall.
Parking for one car per reservation is free for our hotel guests in any of our three outside lots and underground garage. Parking is also available in the Vail public parking structures in the Village area and in Lionshead. There is a charge for these structures during ski season.

Transportation Information
Fire Safety Message Like all buildings, hotels can have fires. Plan what to do when you check in. You won’t have time to plan during a fire.
First, find two exits nearest your room. Be sure they are unlocked and unblocked.
Then, count doors between your room and exits so you’ll have a reference point if it’s smoky.
When you hear an alarm, act, don’t investigate.
If fire is in your room, get out and close the door. Once out, report the fire.
If fire is not in your room, leave if you can. First, feel your door. If it’s cool, open it slowly and go to the nearest exit. Crawl in smoke. Fresh air will be at the floor. Take your key so you can go back if you can’t use your exits.
Never use elevators during a fire. They could stop at the fire floor.
If your room door is hot, don’t open it. Your room may be the safest place to be. Seal all cracks with wet towels. Shut off fans and air conditioners. Signal at your window. Call the Fire Department and wait to be rescued.
