HOW TO FIND THE ANGLE SUM OF OCTAGON

CUT INTO TRIANGLES






The angle sum of triangle is 180°.
Then the angle sum of 2 triangles will be 2 x 180° = 360°
Then the angle sum of 3 triangles will be 3 x 180° = 540°

Then if there is (n-2) triangles, (n-2) x 180 °
Hence…..
No. of triangles in hexagon = 6
Angle sum of triangle = 180°
Angle sum of 4 triangle = 6 x 180 ° = 1080 °
