Making this event better and better each year is a serious challenge for our sale team, but this year we think we have the ingredients for one of the best sale offerings in the history of the Hereford breed. Over the past two years, a few international lots have taken pride of place in our DGS sale offering, but this year we knew we needed to go one step further. On offer will be genetics from the UK, Denmark, Canada, USA, Uruguay, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand. These genetics are from some of the world’s leading Hereford programs and have the potential to push your herd to the fore. Our Saturday sale offering starts with twist this year, and we are proud to announce that lot 1 in our Designer Genes Hereford Sale is none other than the UK Hereford Bull of the Year 2018 – Coley 1 Pilot. We have wanted to offer a herd sire prospect lot in the past but never plucked up the courage, so as soon as we set eyes on Pilot, we knew he was coming to Shrewsbury.
