Settles in France, renting a succession of rooms in Paris.

Begins modelling for Rodin

Patronised by John Quinn, a New York lawyer, who bought everything she would sell until his death

Moves to Paris suburb of Meudon, retaining city flat as studio until 1918

Received into Catholic Church
