Life in a typical African City as seen through the eyes of its inhabitants, focusing sharply on the deprivation and corruption in the shanty towns that spring up as the population moves from the land to the new city. The problems of urbanisation are examined, heightening our awareness of the difficulties facing Africa coming to terms with the modern world.
