To me, PROTECTING BUSINESS means creating and maintaining a business-friendly environment. A business-friendly environment includes low regulation and fair tax levels. It includes publicprivate partnerships to develop talent and advanced education for accreditations to keep talent engaged and growing. A businessfriendly environment includes a well-rounded and vibrant community. A vibrant community provides diversity of thought and leadership, has parks, recreation, arts, theatre, sports, entertainment, and a strong commitment to the non-profit sector. These things don’t “just-happen” - they are the result of the Chamber Team’s hard work and advocacy efforts each day.
