BORMAN ELEMENTARY DESIGN:

CONCEPTUAL/SCHEMATIC WORKFLOW

In Collaboration with: Corgan

Term: Feb. 2024 - Jan. 2025

In this section, I have put together the process of my design method and how I critique the form/ function of the project as it evovles. This project is Borman Elementary school in the Denton Independent School District. Borman was a ground up replacement school from what they currently have. This project was staffed by myself, Erin Bossart, Gen Daley, Briley Rome, Dylan Barber and Hiroki Mishima. This ground up construction project is under construction as of 2025 with an expectant completion date of 2026. Throughout the slides, I show what I’m thinking and how i visually put together

diagrams or ideas to get my thoughts across in a studio enviroment and group effort to design. The items shown are anywhere from hand sketch, Bluebeam sketch, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop or Enscape/D5. These mediums give me the best outcomes to show and save my work to certain locations always being able to be accessed once on a server for anyone to view and work with. The idea is to show a quick snapshot of the evolution of a design and how agile design paired with adequate communication can produce a beautiful outcome. These diagrams although not polished by any stretch of the imagiantion can truly help spur on further ideas and express a quality stict 3D modeling can’t reproduce.
