My design for an Olympic Park located in Saint-Denis, France. One of my design goals was to bridge (literally and figuratively) the residential neighborhoods in Hauts-de-Seine, one of the wealthiest departments in France, with Seine-Saint-Denis, the poorest department. I focused on the longevity of the park post-Olympics, continuing the goal of Olympic site developments to create a legacy plan. I created flex space along the river that can function as seating for an event on the Seine River, public playing fields, open areas, a new transit station to bring people to the park, and an indoor arena on L'Île Saint-Denis.
This project was completed for the Paris Ambiance design research studio in Penn State's Department of Architecture.
