An intervention linked to regeneration is proposed, an archi tecture as a process-management and not as an object-result where links are established and Errekaleor is, now, a neigh borhood with the capacity for dialogue.
Regeneration strategy for the self-managed neighborhood of "Errekaleor Bizirik".
Restore and at the same time demolish the archi tecture, generated by the compatibility of structu res. Through a free appropriation of space, the pro ject explores new spatial forms that are shaped by new infrastructures on both a domestic and community scale. Thanks to the progressive unevenness, the new sys tem allows the slabs to be linked at different hei ghts and thus break with the impositions of the postwar architecture that supports the neighborhood.
Starting from unifying the neighborhood and its ele ments, the project differentiates the interve ned space —defined by the volumes and the spa ce to intervene corresponding to the appropriation—.

This neighborhood was built in the 1950s to house Vito rian industry homes, but with the plan to expand the Sal burua neighborhood over Errekaleor, a relocation plan for the residents was carried out by the Administration and a possible demolition. It is in 2013 when the neigh borhood begins to be squatted together with some of the neighbors. After several eviction attempts and the power cut, the neighborhood is currently a self-mana gement project, considered the largest in Spain today.
MEDIATION OF THE OCCUPIED SPACE

Madrid interventions.
The work uses the city of Madrid as a repre sentative example of a consolidated city, where there are various cases of reconversion of museums. It is a city that has a high level of heritage and historical character, whose identity has been renewed in recent years.

This research takes museum interventions as a starting point. From questioning whe re the current museums are going, the chan ges that are taking place, and the role of ar chitecture in them, this work aims to analyze the typologies of modification of museums as a determining factor for its evolution.

The reconversion in museums constitutes a contemporary museological resource that has architecture as an essential factor for its con figuration. This current phenomenon has been developing from historical precedents and is proving to be the most dynamic resource in the redefinition of museums.
This work aims to analyze this phenomenon and point out the different typologies and conditions that are being carried out in the established city. From a decidedly contemporary perspecti ve, it is proposed to develop the compositional and transformation component that houses the architectural project in the redefinition of urban heritage and in the reality in which they are inserted.

The idea of the work is to collect the different spatial systems that are being carried out for the recontextualization of cultural identity and its architecture, understanding the museum as an essential and representative institution in the urban fabric of established cities. From this frame of renewal of museums, this work studies the interventions that are being carried out for their reconversion, the various contexts with the pre-existing and urban identity.

ESTRATEGIAS DE INTERVENCIÓN, IDENTIDAD URBANA

When considering any museum in tervention, it is necessary to acquire a series of derived spaces in these institutions. As we have already classified in the comparative analysis, these spaces are: cafeteria, audito rium, technical spaces, store, library-bookshop, in addition to a reconfiguration of the access if required, since the entrance hall turns out to be the essential place facing the user. Ta king into account the time spent visiting a mu seum, it is very necessary for the user to be able to organize and offer rest spaces such as cafeterias, which are becoming increasingly important in this aspect, in addition to being integrated with all the established circulation. Through the selected case studies, it can be seen how all museum reconversions have included in their final solutions all those issues relevant to the conception of the museum of the 21st century.

In the city of Madrid, one of the most important tourist attractions is the network of museums it offers. The succession of interventions that have taken place in recent years has transfor med the traditional museum into a space open to the city, welcoming visitors and integrating them into the life of the neighborhoods in which they are located through facilities and programs that manage to transcend both the museogra phic sphere and the public and social scale.

In this way, these museums make up a broad cultural framework where several problems to intervene in the consolidated city have been addressed, such as the broad pro gram required, the limit of surface area wi thin the city or the relationship with the high heritage component of Madrid. This exercise has been essential to highlight the main aspects and particularities that de termine the reconversion of museums and their cultural and urban context within the city, as well as on a public and social scale.

In short, through the analysis of the cases studied, the various approa ches to museum development and the complexity of intervening in the con solidated city have been highlighted. the various approaches to museum develop ment and the complexity of intervening in the consolidated city. The interventions highligh ted show the great variety of formal strate gies and intervention modalities, as well as the multiple conditioning factors that inter vene on the pre-existing architecture and in the cultural sphere of a city such as Madrid.

The project proposes a solution to the boundary between the natural and artificial landscape and El Cerro del Mirón as the protagonist of the intervention.
The proposal arises, beyond the condition of inhabiting, from an exercise of reinforcing the character of the landscape and its history, from which the new volume suspended over the slope is formed.

The limits of the urban.
From the idea of generating a dialogue with the environment and the city, giving continuity to the landscape and redefi ning the protected historical boundary, the project proposes to build a new wall that relies on the existing topographic di fference, and that hides inside the spaces that relate directly to the circumstances of the environment. Thus favoring the enhancement of the hill itself, its character and the proposed reconfiguration of the wall and the boundary.

INHABIT SORIA
The interior public space is "carved" out of the volume. Thus, the breaks and changes of direction of the wall are enough to solve the accesses and the relationship between the different spaces, evoking a long and broken unfinished wall to configure an element fused with the hill and open to the landscape and the city.

SUPER- RECREATIONAL FLAGSHIP
Understanding the Gran Via not as what it wanted to be but what it has become, being currently a large com mercial structure based on consumption as leisure, the project aims to make an exercise of recharging, not as an isolated event, but as an active space that enhances the reality of the environment from the uninhabited Palacio de la Música.

To make the Music Palace a representative space of the global system of centrality based on the activity of "shopping", as a use of leisure and free time attracted by the iconic character of these spaces, making the buil ding of the pre-existing Palace for the experiences of consumption and contemporary leisure. It is no longer just a space for the simple exchange of goods between producers and consumers, but also an imaginary and symbolic place for the representation of the subject in the consumer culture.
The project is based on the coexistence of the infras tructure and the city, undoing the traditional separation between these two "worlds". From the technological, through the design of a complex stacked system of production of "artificial atmospheres", which use the in frastructure of the city for its operation, to the almost "ceremonial", through the realization of each and every one of the agents and "rituals" that come together in the proposal, building an "ad hoc" universe of great interest and innovation.

Although it was abandoned in the early seventies, it is propo sed to make a proposal that describes its historical context, formal, perceptual and ecological characteristics and discusses its inclusion in new methodologies in architecture.

ATOMIC ECOSYSTEM

Atomic Garden "El Encín".
As a matter adapts to the environment, relating the areas of interest that we discover both inside and outside the garden and that the bubbles, as living areas, will be reorganized according to a matrix of time and climate. Everyone changes places when they want to. Life is an endless journey through a bubble space that transforms so quickly that each time it looks different. The ecosystem under the bubble and communica tions would be one and the same as one continuous element.
Exercise that deals with the current transformation of architecture, specifically in its possible alterations. The ato mic garden "El Encín", an element of landscape architecture a few kilometers from Madrid.

COLLECTIVE HOUSING IN VALLECAS
The approach is to test hybrid typologies, which can offer new types of leisure, social and user interac tion, allowing people to choose their own environ ment, the new residents are empowered to operate independently and for the benefit of all.

The light, mostly zenithal, as the main element. The glass ceiling bathes this environment, channeling light into the building through luminous walls. The spaces are designed in such a way that natural light is part of them.

CENTRO SOSKINE

Understanding the exhibition space as an environment, both for the viewer and the exhibits, it aims to be si nuous through a continuous route.
