What’s your Carolina story? This is Samantha’s: “I received my acceptance letter at work. I was terrified of getting rejected. I went home to open it alone. When I got the good news, I called my mom and we celebrated. She always told me I could do it.” giveunc.unc.edu/mj




What’s your Carolina story? This is Samantha’s: “The summer transfer program made a real impression on me. The classes allowed me to get to know Carolina. I met some students in their 20s, like me, who became friends.” giveunc.unc.edu/mj

“The Durham VOICE is a community newspaper. I’m co-editor. We recently worked on an MLK Parade story together. I learn so much from my co-editor and everyone on the team. And we have fun!” giveunc.unc.edu/mj
