our fabric
Our SurfTec® + SurfTec® Rib fabric is made from recycled nylon and Elastane. The nylon is recycled from pre-consumer fiber and fabric scraps that would otherwise become waste. The production of SurfTec® also meets Global Recycled Standards (GRS).

All of our recycled swimwear fabrics are made in knitting mills that meet Global Recycled Standards (GRS). In addition, our sewing facilities are WRAP® certified ensuring environmentally and ethical responsible production. However, we believe that sustainability is not just about how we make swimwear, it is also about how long the swimwear will last.
That is why we use the highest quality fabrics and threads that are chlorine and saltwater resistant and will not fade in the sun. Construction details such as continuous band straps that evenly distribute tension and reinforced stitching at stress points also help ensure the longevity of our swimwear.
