SRO Active Shooting Response

SRO Active Shooting Response This 1-Day/10-hr course is designed to train SROs on specific skills needed when there is an active threat on their campus.

Special emphasis will be placed on close quarters marksmanship, tactical entry/CQB, crisis point CQB, and treating life threatening hemorrhage.

The following topics/skill sets will be covered:  Close Quarters Rifle Engagements  Close Quarters Pistol Engagements  Trauma Care for Law Enforcement  Active Threat Response  Solo officer/2-3 Officer campus clearance The following items are required:  Duty handgun with 3 x magazines, duty/pistol belt  Patrol rifle with 3 x magazines (mag pouch, chest rig, or plate carrier)  Eye/Hearing protection  Duty vest or plate carrier Ammunition Required: 250-rds Handgun/250-rds Rifle
