High Threat Engagement Tactics

High Threat Engagement Tactics This 50-hour course is designed specifically for small units conducting High Risk Warrants, search and seizures of narcotics, as well as extraction of undercover officers. The focus of this course will be on tactics and techniques to mitigate risk while successfully apprehending subjects.

Attendees will conduct realistic tactical scenarios with live fire as well as force on force while isolating specific skills focused on increasing their success and survivability.

Training will include:  Advanced Close Quarters Marksmanship  React to contact on approach to Structures and Vehicles  Individual/Team Movement with live fire scenarios  TECC with Downed Officer Scenarios  Tactical Entry  Vehicle Interdictions Ammunition Requirements: Rifle 1000-rds Handgun 500-rds Sim Rifle 200-rds Sim Pistol 200-rds Required Equipment:  Patrol Rifle with sling/ 3 ea. Magazines/magazine pouches  Service Handgun with Holster, 3 ea.
