Remarkably, despite the devastation our barrier islands endured, the legendary ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa was spared significant impact and in less than five weeks, our beloved, historic property re-opened to provide highly valuable housing, plus food service, for restoration and repair personnel.

Within a few more weeks, our hard-working and highly-dedicated Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts team members put us in a position to re-open this time to the local public first, then to all as the only full-service resort on any barrier island in Southwest Florida.
