This vibrant and picturesque town is steeped in history and bathes in the beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Full of culture and tradition, there is much to look at and explore. Perhaps pay a visit to the Abergavenny Museum and learn the towns story from prehistory to the present day. The Friday market is well known as one of the major markets in Wales located in the heart of the town where you will find all kinds of goods. Bradford-on-Avon and Corsham, Wiltshire u Tuesday 3 April Our first stop is Bradford-on-Avon, surrounded by beautiful countryside and facing the River Avon, this picturesque town has plenty of character. Enjoy a stroll through the town with its quaint shops and restaurants or take a seat and relax by the river. Enjoy the view from the ancient bridge in the centre of town and see the old weavers’ cottages dotted along the hill. Early afternoon we head to Corsham, a pretty market town with Bath stone buildings and where colourful peacocks roam freely along the cobbled high street, which was used in the BBC’s hit drama Poldark.

Brighton u Thursday 12 April Stylish Brighton has all the ingredients for seaside fun, from the bustling Palace Pier to a walk along the prom. Perhaps take a flight on the new i360, which offers an amazing 360 degree view of Brighton. There is also the impressive Royal Pavilion to visit, built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV. Stroll along the quaint lanes and visit the many boutiques and antique shops. Maybe visit Sea Life and see the many creatures from sea turtles to sharks or head to Brighton Marina, the city’s waterfront shopping centre. Chester or Chester Zoo u Tuesday 3 April Dating back to Roman times, Chester has much to explore and the city retains its atmospheric main streets. It offers buildings rich in history of every era. See the ornate Eastgate Clock before visiting the unique medieval, two-tiered ‘Rows’. These double-level walkways have balconies and shops at each level. Historic Ely and Cambridge u Tuesday 20 February First we visit Ely, filled with beautiful Georgian buildings and a delightful riverside area. The towers of the magnificent cathedral can be seen for miles around, and are a constant reminder of the rich history of The Fens. In the afternoon we head to Cambridge, a beautiful, historic city famous for its university with a wealth of things to see and do including delightful tea rooms and bookshops. Historic London Attractions u Thursday 22 February Our drop off point is close to Tower Bridge, giving you access to the Tower of London, one of the world’s most famous fortresses, home to the dazzling crown jewels. Llandudno u Thursday 5 April Llandudno is the largest resort in Wales. Lying between the western Great Orme and eastern Little Orme are two beautiful beaches, the award winning north shore and the sand duned west shore. Perhaps take a ride on Britain’s only cablehauled tramway to the Great Orme, this unique experience takes you on a one-mile journey to the summit where you can enjoy the great views of Llandudno’s sweeping bays, or take a stroll along the longest pier in Wales, this award winning pier was built in 1878 and is a grade II listed building. Manchester or The Trafford Centre u Friday 5 January Our first stop is the Trafford shopping centre, just outside the main city. There will be lots of bargains to be found in the sales, with over 200 stores ranging from designer to high fashion favorites. Visit the Great Hall, this dining and leisure area has over 60 restaurants and cafes so there will be lots of opportunities to have a rest! Also home to Sea Life and a Legoland Discovery Centre. For those who would prefer to shop in Manchester the coach will drop in a central location to the many department stores the city has to offer, including Selfridge’s, John Lewis and Debenhams. National Memorial Arboretum, Staffordshire u Wednesday 21 February The NMA is home to the moving Armed Forces Memorial which remembers those who have given their lives since the end of WW11. We will arrive in time for the daily Act of Remembrance in the Millennium Chapel of Peace and Forgiveness, where a brief history will be given by a guide followed by a two minute silence. Explore the 150 acre site where new memorials are added every year, join the land train with commentary to see some of vast collection of memorials and read their stories or use an audio guide to make the most of your visit. Stamford on Market Day u Friday 13 April Historic Stamford, situated on the River Welland in the county of Lincolnshire, is a beautiful market town described as ‘the finest stone town in England’. Directions Our premises are situated one mile north of Henley, on the A3400, travelling towards Birmingham.

Upon arrival, enter via the DRIVER COURIER ‘Entrance’ gateway and follow the signs for ‘Express Parking’. For passengers being dropped off and collected later there is ample space. Post code for satnav users is B95 5QS. Travel in Comfort All coaches used on Express Excursions will be from our top class touring fleet, equipped with air-conditioning, reclining seats and toilet.

BOOKING CONDITIONS Confirmation of Booking We require payment in full within 7 days of booking.

We will then send you a confirmation/receipt which is also your ticket for the excursion. If payment is not received within this time, your booking will be cancelled. (Online bookers can print off their confirmation).

Methods of Payment Cash, cheque, debit and credit cards are acceptable. Please make cheques payable to: ‘Johnsons Coach Travel’. Please note that there is a 2% charge for payments made by credit card.

Reductions There are no reductions for Senior Citizens or Children on Express Excursions.

Cancellation (a) By the Company If, due to less than 20 bookings, we are forced to cancel any excursion, we reserve the right to do so up to 2 working days prior to departure. All monies paid by passengers will be refunded and following that, we shall be exempt from further liability. (b) By the Passenger You may cancel your booking at any time, subject to these conditions: (i) With more than 2 working days prior to departure you will receive a refund of £5.00 per person. (ii) With less than 2 working days’ notice, the £19 per person fare is non-refundable.

Alterations The company reserves the right to alter or cancel any excursion listed in this brochure, or to change the size and specification of vehicle used. On occasion it may be necessary to allocate a vehicle with a larger seating capacity. When this occurs please be advised that seat numbers may change.

Unaccompanied Children Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age.
