Derbyshire Dales & the Peaks u Friday 4 August “There is no finer county in England” wrote Jane Austen in Pride and Prejudice, and it is hard to argue with the Queen of romantic fiction. We commence with a visit to the Spa town of Buxton, before a scenic afternoon drive along the edges of the high peaks through the Hope Valley, where we pause at the Visitors Centre in Castleton.

Browse the shops and admire the interesting buildings in the surrounding area. The Tate Gallery, Maritime Museum and the ‘Beatles Story’, a shrine to the legendary pop group, are all found here. (Admissions are not included).

Llandudno u Tuesday 2 August Llandudno is the largest resort in Wales and boasts a unique location. Lying between the western Great Orme and eastern Little Orme are two beautiful beaches, the award winning north shore and the sand dunned west shore.

Perhaps take a ride on the Great Orme Tramway and enjoy the views from the Great Orme summit or take a stroll along the longest pier in Wales.

We continue to Ironbridge, where we include a set down at the magnificent Blists Hill, where visitors can experience life as it was over 100 years ago through sights, sounds, smells and tastes of a recreated Victorian Town (Entrance not included). Southwold u Tuesday 15 August The town of Southwold on the East coast of England is the Jewel in the crown of the East Suffolk seaside resorts.

It is a tranquil place, a peaceful haven, with a superb award-winning beach, and one of the country’s most famous piers.

The town has three dominant landmarks, when approaching from inland, the huge water tower, the tower of the parish church of St Edmund’s and the magnificent whitewashed lighthouse. Southwold is home to the famous Adnams brewery which has been brewing here for over 300 years, with other attractions including, at the entrance to the harbour, the Royal National Lifeboat Station, a unique building with its own story of being rescued from the sea.

Situated on the north bank of the estuary mouth of the River Teign. Alternatively you have the option of continuing to Dawlish. Famous for its black swans, it is another popular seaside destination with red sandstone cliffs overlooking a sandy beach.

Reductions There are no reductions for Senior Citizens or Children on Express Excursions.

Cancellation (a) By the Company If, due to less than 20 bookings, we are forced to cancel any excursion, we reserve the right to do so up to 2 working days prior to departure. All monies paid by passengers will be refunded and following that, we shall be exempt from further liability. (b) By the Passenger You may cancel your booking at any time, subject to these conditions: (i) With more than 2 working days prior to departure you will receive a refund of £5.00 per person. (ii) With less than 2 working days’ notice, the £19 per person fare is non-refundable.

Alterations The company reserves the right to alter or cancel any excursion listed in this brochure, or to change the size and specification of vehicle used. On occasion it may be necessary to allocate a vehicle with a larger seating capacity. When this occurs please be advised that seat numbers may change.

Unaccompanied Children Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult of at least 18 years of age.
