To the Family of <<first>> <<last>> <<street1>> <<street2>> <<city>>, <<state>> <<zipcode>> Dear family, A visit to Johnson & Wales could help make a JWU education more affordable, with the opportunity to receive up to $20,000 toward tuition. This is how it works: Register and attend an in-person admissions event and apply by December 1 to qualify for the JWU Visit Grant of $5,000 annually, renewable for up to four years. We know you can learn a lot about JWU online, but there’s nothing like being here. That’s why we introduced the Visit Grant. Walk around campus, check out the spaces where students learn and spend time, see our community in real life and learn firsthand what makes JWU different. Join us for a Providence Open House on October 17 or November 14 and participate in an info session to receive a free JWU hoodie. Campus tours are also available Monday through Friday and many Saturdays. While you’re here, take some time to experience Providence. From fall festivals and local attractions to shops and restaurants, including many owned by JWU alumni, exploring the city can help {{Person-Mailing-Name}} and your family get a sense of what it’s like to live, learn and thrive here. We understand that applying to college can bring a lot of questions and pressure for students and families. That’s why we’ve simplified the application process: no application fee, no essay and no test scores required for admission. Schedule an in-person admissions visit at jwu.edu/visit. I hope to see you on campus this fall! Sincerely,
Amy O'Connell Director of Admissions
