To the Family of <<first>> <<last>> <<street1>> <<street2>> <<city>>, <<state>> <<zipcode>> Dear family, A visit to Johnson & Wales could help make a JWU education more affordable, with the opportunity to receive up to $20,000 toward tuition. This is how it works: Register and attend an in-person admissions event and apply by December 1 to qualify for the JWU Visit Grant of $5,000 annually, renewable for up to four years. We know you can learn a lot about JWU online, but there’s nothing like being here. That’s why we introduced the Visit Grant. Walk around campus, check out the spaces where students learn and spend time, see our community in real life and learn firsthand what makes JWU different. Campus tours are available Monday through Friday and many Saturdays. While you’re here, take some time to explore Charlotte, too. Whether you’re enjoying a local restaurant, walking through Uptown or discovering something new around the city, getting to know the community can help {{Person-Mailing-Name}} and your family picture what life in Charlotte could be like beyond campus. We understand that applying to college can bring a lot of questions and pressure for students and families. That’s why we’ve simplified the application process: no application fee, no essay and no test scores required for admission. Schedule an in-person admissions visit at jwu.edu/visit. I hope to see you on campus this fall! Sincerely,
Amy O'Connell Director of Admissions
