Johnson & Wales University
We’re leaders in internships and experiential education. Our Reimagining Experiential & Applied Learning (REAL) approach to education brings experiential learning into every single course you take at JWU. Instead of traditional lectures, students learn through active lessons that can include field work, simulations, labs, field trips and more. Students take part in exciting, real-world learning opportunities that truly prepare them for their chosen field.

of alumni are either employed, continuing their education or enlisted in military service within six months of graduation.
Degree Options Students can choose a traditional four-year bachelor’s degree or, in select majors, a fully accredited three-year bachelor’s degree. The three-year option lets students complete their degree in six semesters, pay for three years of college and graduate a year early, with no summer courses required.
The JWU Pledge Families with household incomes below $200,000 may qualify for grant and scholarship packages covering 70% to 100% of tuition. Learn more at jwu.edu/thepledge.
99% of on-campus students receive institutional financial aid. All students have a dedicated financial planner assigned to them for all four years of their education. When students complete their FAFSA, they can use JWU’s code, 003404.
