The JWU Pledge
Johnson & Wales University
Career-focused education made affordable.
At JWU, we aim to make our hands-on education affordable for all admitted students — 98% of our in-person students receive institutional support. The JWU Pledge can cover up to 100% of tuition for eligible students.
Complete the FAFSA (school code 003404) to see if you qualify for the Pledge or need-based aid. Once accepted to JWU, you’ll be assigned a financial advisor to help you create a financial plan that works for you.
Our career-focused education is an investment in your future. Our career outcomes are consistently higher than the national average, with 95% of our alumni being employed, continuing their education, enlisted in military service or performing voluntary service within six months of graduating.
JWU Pledge Eligibility
Learn more about the JWU Pledge and eligibility requirements at jwu.edu/thepledge.

The JWU Pledge covers tuition only and is determined by your family’s income listed on your FAFSA. This does not include lab or other fees, supplies, books or room and meal plans.
The packages referenced above will not include loans, however any loan eligibility can be used to help cover housing and meal costs.
Students who live within 35 miles of campus and choose to live at home could be eligible for the JWU Commuter Grant instead. This program is similar to JWU Pledge but designed specifically for eligible commuters.
