Meet Mariah Henry ’19

Mariah Henry combined her passion for community work with her culinary arts training to become the director of urban agriculture at Carolina Farm Trust, an organization on a mission to re-educate, reform and strengthen communities through food. She also recently started her own business, Honey & Maple, to provide culinary ideation, local sourcing, event execution, green space design and community engagement to the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

Henry is just one of the many JWU alumni making an impact in the city we call home. Plan a visit to see for yourself!
