A Career & Technical Student Organization (CTSO) is an extracurricular group that promotes leadership skills through real-world experiences, competitions and networking events. JWU values the experiences that CTSO members bring to our community, and we offer two scholarship awards to accepted students involved in a CTSO.

• Junior Achievement
• National FFA
• SkillsUSA
• Technology Student Association
This $2,000 award (renewable for up to four years at JWU) is available to any student who demonstrates past or present participation in a CTSO on their admission application.
This $3,000 award (renewable for up to four years at JWU) is given to select students who have at least one year of experience in a CTSO leadership position.
Students who receive this award are also eligible for the CTSO Scholarship, for a total of $5,000 a year.
Here’s how to apply:
1. Indicate membership in a CTSO on your application, including your leadership role.
2. Fill out the CTSO Leadership Award application in your admissions portal by February 1.
