John-Richard continues to strengthen the speed and consistency of its delivery experience, with many in-stock items expected to ship within approximately three to five business days from order placement. This accelerated timeline is supported through the company’s 236,000 square foot headquarters and logistics center in Whitsett, North Carolina, which serves as its central hub for shipping and distribution operations following a relocation from Greenwood, Mississippi in 2023.
The large scale of the Whitsett facility enables a coordinated operational flow across the building, with inventory moving through clearly designated work areas that guide product from intake through fulfillment. Visibility and organization across the warehouse support consistent, precise execution as items advance through each stage of the process. Receiving, inspection, and outbound activity are managed within dedicated zones that sustain uninterrupted progression while maintaining clear separation between functions.
To accommodate a diverse product range, the facility is organized into specialized storage environments. Larger goods are staged in wide-aisle areas designed to support ease of movement and handling, while smaller accessory products are stored in narrow-aisle racking systems accessed through drive-by wire pickers. This structure allows different categories of product to be processed in parallel while maintaining control and clarity acros daily operations.
Fragile pieces receive additional protection through skeleton crating, an open-frame packaging method designed to minimize pressure points and reduce breakage during transit. Since relocating to the Whitsett

facility and implementing these updated procedures, product damage rates have decreased by approximately 40 percent.

Another key component of the operation is John-Richard’s use of consolidated shipments, which enables multiple pieces to move together on a streamlined schedule that reduces touchpoints and creates a more direct path from warehouse to delivery.
Located under one roof, executive leadership works alongside logistics, inspection, and operations teams to maintain alignment between planning and execution, supporting responsive decision-making as orders progress toward shipment.
Together, these efforts reinforce a delivery experience defined by speed, reliability, and consistency, supported by a structured operational approach that embodies the attention to detail expected of John-Richard.
