I'm Edward Johnson. I am a graphic designer interested in street culture-based designs and product design for extreme sports. My style is a grungy aesthetic and attitude working through analogue processes, digital dEsign and typography. I am inspired by organic patterns and brutalist design styles. As a visual thinker, I enjoy the design process, developing my ideas from initial sketches to digital concepts and producing physical outcomes for products.

1. design something you can be proud of, even if you don't like the theme.

2. ensure ethical practice throughout your work.

3. take risksexplore methods and materials outside your comfort zone.

4. don't get hung up on a particular idea - explore other avenues.

5. make your work understandable(it's not for you).

6. record your process - how else will you work out where you made a mistake?.

7. don't be afraid to make mistakes along the way - just learn from them.

8. don't overcomplicate your work - too much in a design makes it difficult in interpret.
