After witnessing the devastation Covid has caused in other nations, With a deaf ear, with least concern, We allowed it to spread on our own.

The negligence we demonstrated The ignorance we exhibited, Covid, the disaster, we re-invited, Scared! We now feel totally isolated.

The deadly and widespread virus Without mercy shatters our bliss; Many a dear one we already miss, Let’s avert another wave like this.

The most pathetic plight of victims From old age to the prime teens; Anyone can fall a Covid victim, Awaken, use mask and sanitization.

Let us be more alert than earlier Help our near, dear and even others, Let us be cautious, remain indoors, Lest we fall prey to this evil monster.
