Solution 1 – Verify the Shared Download Location from the Product Information Window
• You need to ensure that the shared download location is correct by verifying the location.
• Firstly, access the application as an admin by going to the Startbutton and selecting the Switch User
• Choose an account that has administrative rights and log in using the admin account by right-clicking the QB icon and selecting the Run as Admin
• Once you open QuickBooks, go to the Helptab and click the Product Information section to note down the location where QuickBooks will save the downloaded file.
• Now, from under the Helptab, click Update QuickBooks and verify the download location under the Options
• In case the location is not correct, change the location and select Yesfor Shared Download, followed by checking the status of the 15102 error.
Solution 2 – Disable the Multi-User Mode from the QB File Tab
• If you are running QuickBooks in the multi-hosting mode, you need to disable it to resolve the QB error code 15102.
• If you are using QuickBooks in Multi-Usermode, first log out all the users in the network and open QuickBooks on the workstation that is facing issues.
