Step 1: Make Sure the Internet Security Settings are Properly Configured
• Your bank and QuickBooks use TLS 1.2 security protocol to ensure that your data is secured while connecting to Internet Explorer.

• Now click on the Internet Explorer option.
• Then Select the advanced option and scroll to the Security section.
• Check if you have TLS 1.2 and If not go to the box and select for turning it on.
• Then choose ok.
• Now you will need to exit all the applications which are running on your device.
• You have to restart your computer and then attempt to download your transactions.

Step 2: Checking the compatibility of your bank with the QuickBooks
• You can try to download the transactions directly from the website of your bank.
• Open the website of your bank instead of QuickBooks.
• Now download your banks transaction in .qbo file and move the transactions to QuickBooks.
• And If you still find it difficult to open the .qbo file in QuickBooks you will need to Contact your bank.
