Thesis Abstract:
In all the metropolis, land ava lability is one of the major problems and land value are gett ng more precious The population density of Manila s among the highest major metropolitan areas in the world where there is a massive growth in the population yearly. Urbanization rate is increasing yearly and by the year 2040, there will be more settlements in urban areas than rural areas. These are just some of the problems that the Ph lippines are encountering and to solve these problems vertical ty is one of the solutions The development of condominiums, office buildings and other vertical developments are some products of verticality which by some means solve the said problems
Philippine cemeteries are facing with these kinds of problems. There are major problems that we need to consider in terms of designing our future urban cemetery such as, reuse possibility where reusage of plots in the urban cemeter es usually takes up to twenty-five (25) years for a body to decompose, bones can be dug up and relocated; size of burial plot where its size may vary on the size of the cemetery itself, each year burial plots are getting more expensive; and lastly sanitary issues where in deep burials, the decomposition of the human corpses could generate pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and viruses which can cause disease and illness.
To be able to solve the said problems and connect the relation of urbanism, verticality and cemetery design, Philipp ne cemeteries should adapt a new typology, a vertical cemetery and memor al park that w ll change the typical cemetery design approach which is in a horizontal development to a vertical development. The Proposed Vertical Cemetery and Memorial Park will provide a proper burial for the deceased, a place to pray and mourn for the family and a place to walk and meditate for the public The burial plots that will cater the deceased are crypt stack (apartment type un ts), columbary vaults, and mausoleum units (can in-house both crypt stacks and apartment type units) Religions that are accepting these burials are the target clients of the vertical cemetery and the memorial park is open for the public.

My architectural thesis which is my last ever work for my architecture program in my university This is the t me wherein we should excel and show what we learned on the past 5 years in the architecture program My thesis is about vertical cemetery, the idea was come up because of lack of cemetery in the urban areas and the reality of what is happening on our public cemeteries which are chaotic In God's glory my thesis presentation garnered top 8 overall.

Story Behind:
I was tasked to work with the realistic architectural 3D renderings, some 3D modelling and a walkthrough presentation for the MMCP lead by my former thesis adviser, Arch Joselito Cillo and he presented it to the priests of the church It was a process wherein there are revisions that should be implemented in order to update the priests. The architect of the church, Arch. Dennis Pontanilla is also my mentor on my apprenticeship years.
The project is more on alteration of an old church, the church's construction was completed in the midst of covid-19 pandemic The church's budget for the construction was donated by the generous home owners of the BF Resort Village - Las Piñas. The church is located at BF Resort Village - Las Piñas, Capitoline Hill St

The project aims to accommodate all people who loves to drink tea and coffee and as well as reading books and also likes to access computer It is a public place that will be provided by the city of Dasmariñas to all Caviteños and visitors of the c ty It will be an example project that will be a model for all the cities in Cavite prov nce.

It was designed for one of the Sales Associates of the company and they requested it to look minimalist but still elegant so that's why I used black and white as the ma n finishes for the kitchen
