John Lyon pupils enjoyed a successful and engaging winter cricket programme and by Easter were excited to get outside to test their cricket skills on the field of play.

The season, so far, has been a successful one, in which John Lyon has been victorious in 62% of its cricket fixtures across the year groups. Notable performances this term have included:

• The 1st XI and U12s teams reaching the semi-final of the Middlesex County Cup

• U13s and U14s reaching the quarter finals of the Middlesex County Cup

• Kahil (U6JCC) scoring 86 not out against Westminster School

• Vinay (8JOC) bowling figures of 5-0 against Ibstock Place

• Up to 25 girls representing the School in matches against Oratory School and Orley Farm School

• Rhian (9AJH) scoring his first century for Harrow borough
