April 2020 is a Seller’s market! The number of for sale listings was down 13.5% from one year earlier and down 3% from the previous month. The number of sold listings increased 128.6% year over year and increased 77.8% month over month. The number of under contract listings was down 43.7% compared to previous month and down 25% compared to previous year. The Months of Inventory based on Closed Sales is 2, down 62.4% from the previous year.

April 2020 is a Seller’s market! The number of for sale listings was down 15.2% from one year earlier and up 9.1% from the previous month. The number of sold listings decreased 22% year over year and decreased 19.6% month over month. The number of under contract listings was down 10.4% compared to previous month and down 30.2% compared to previous year. The Months of Inventory based on Closed Sales is 2.3, up 4.6% from the previous year.
WALLA WALLA, WA
April 2020 is a Seller’s market! The number of for sale listings was down 19.8% from one year earlier and up 4.8% from the previous month. The number of sold listings decreased 36.6% year over year and decreased 30.8% month over month. The number of under contract listings was down 11.3% compared to previous month and down 26.7% compared to previous year. The Months of Inventory based on Closed Sales is 2.9, up 26.3% from the previous year.
TRI CITIES, WA
April 2020 is a Seller’s market! The number of for sale listings was down 8.4% from one year earlier and down 9.1% from the previous month. The number of sold listings decreased 4.4% year over year and decreased 21.1% month over month. The number of under contract listings was down 16.7% compared to previous month and down 20.7% compared to previous year. The Months of Inventory based on Closed Sales is 1.3, down 7.1% from the previous year.

We are experiencing a Seller’s Market throughout our footprint because the number of sale listings mentioned above are down. This leads to categories such as number of sold listings, number of listings under contract and month of inventory all being down as well due to the lack of listing equals a lack to inventory to meet demand from buyers who are generally moving into the area for a number of reasons.
