FRIDAY EVENING PROGRAMME & DINNER

Drinks Reception for contestants and under 18 guests

SATURDAY REGISTRATION

Contestants with gold wristbands only

Contestants with gold wristbands only: Essay finalists who have been given a gold wristband on Friday should wear their wristband again on Saturday. These candidates should enter via the “Great Room Entrance” on Park Lane, opposite Hyde Park, between 9am and 9.30am. The first session is due to start promptly at 9.45am in the Great Room.

Contestants with no wristbands

Essay finalists who didn’t register on Friday, and who therefore were not yet issued with a wristband, should enter via the “Ballroom Entrance” on Park Lane, opposite Hyde Park, between 8.30am and 9.15am in order to register in time to attend the first session in the Great Room.

Hotel staff and John Locke representatives will be on hand to direct you to the registration table.

Parents & Guardians

Parents and guardians: To avoid congestion in the busy registration process, we would be grateful if you would say goodbye to your son or daughter as soon as they have entered the hotel, rather than accompanying them to the event space.

Dress Code

We suggest that you wear ‘business casual’ on Saturday day-time. If you are joining us for the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony in the evening, the dress code for that is ‘black tie’.
