Design Concept Reinterpretation In a programatic way, needing of exhibition and gym, reinterpretation of staples and convention center were used as concept, combining functions and shapes and design with the flow of the circulation.

The purpose of this building is to create spaces for students to rest by Mumford House which is historical architectural monumental in order to have more approach to the house. My concept has strong desire of “Observing” the Mumford House from the Lab. Rest of the area on first floor is public dominated.

UIUC Climate Shelter located between Huff Hall and Business building. It was designed with a concept “Golden Ratio” with different heights of buildings, giving the best climate shelter based on climate research around the campus in UIUC.

Design Concept Segregation

CDCC (Champaign Downtown Community Clinic) was designed with the consideration of being “segregated” in the exam rooms so patients won’t face each other but also at the same time providing social features that comes to selective oppotunity to everyone at outdoor and indoor at separation.
