Malapascua Island — Philippines Malapascua Island hugs the Visayas ocean. Malapascua Island is nestled in the Visayan Sea. Like the many small islands that make up the Philippines, this is a hidden gem. It is a treasured pearl of the sea. The island is surrounded by some of the richest coral beds in the world. The abundance of beauty. This is the reason why Malapascua Island is a major destination for divers around the world. It is 4.2 miles from the north end of Cebu. It is separated from Cebu by a shallow strait. Its water is crystal clear! It is bluer than blue. It is a paradise for divers!

Malapascua has recently become known as a destination for divers. The island is known for its extensive putting sand. This sea has generous fine white sand. It is like silk between the legs. No need to wear slippers here. It is known to be some of the most attractive coral gardens. It is a snorkeler's paradise. Malapascua is also a gateway for other dive sites in addition to this, Isla ng Gato, Monad Shoal, and Kemod Shoal are all sought-after dive sites. Monad Shoal is a famous underwater cliff. Thresher sharks and Manta Rays are also often seen here. There are still fishermen whose livelihood is still from the sea. They bring their fresh catch every day to the market. The farmers who still farm the land can provide fresh vegetables every day. Most of the locals in Malapascua Island derive their livelihood from tourism. They are friendly and kind. They will do everything just to make you feel comfortable. There are several hotels on the island to cater to your needs. There are major dive resorts that cater to divers as well. The food is fantastic; like all of Asia, everything is fresh. The fruits and vegetables are picked fresh every day. Fishermen bring in their catch from the previous night
