Andrew Yiangou Director
Andrew is a Director of Capital Security Bank, appointed in 2016. Andrew’s career started with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) in Sydney in January 1974, where he went on to work for 32 years, progressing from various Supervisory roles through to Senior Management and Executive Management positions. Functions covered included; Operations, Client Service, Sales, Procurement, Product Management, Relationship, Projects and Business Management. In 2005, Andrew joined National Australia Bank (NAB), as Executive Manager, progressing to General Manager/Managing Director of the Global Transactional Banking Solutions business (GTBS). This expanded role saw him establish/lead a global best practice end-to-end international payments business, which included Operations & Service, Product, Sales & Account Management, Global Cash Management and International Marketing & Strategy. This business processed/managed payments totaling an average daily value of AUD 100 billion. During Andrew’s 10 year tenure with NAB, direct GTBS revenue, grew more than 300%. Further this business, was awarded Asiamoney’s ‘Best AUD Clearer for Financial Institutions’ for an unprecedented 9 years running, and rated number one across several categories by FImetrix for 3 consecutive client surveys. In June 2016 Andrew founded his own management consulting business, working with both domestic and international Financial Institutions, with regards to International Cash Management and Payments. Andrew is one of 4 Directors on the Board at Capital Security Bank. It is the role of the Directors to ensure company goals are clearly established with strategies in place for achieving them. As a Director, Andrew is also responsible for establishing policies, overseeing corporate governance and the overall development of the business.
