New State-of-the-Art Stavros Niarchos Foundation Emergency Department Treats Adults and Children Mount Sinai has been in the forefront of health care for generations.

This year we unveil our $175 million state-of-the-art Ambulatory Pavilion. The new Mount Sinai Queens is health care at its best. Much more than just a new building with the latest in comforts and amenities, our new facility allows us to be er serve the Queens community.

Our new 140,000 square foot building is home to a new Emergency Department (ED), a new Outpatient Imaging facility, a new Multi-Specialty Physician Practice, and new cu ing-edge Operating Rooms. We will soon have medical and surgical capabilities that were previously only available in Manha an, yet still maintain the comfort and familiarity of a community hospital dedicated to the health of our neighbors.

Transforming Your Emergency Department Experience The new Stavros Niarchos Foundation Emergency Department of Mount Sinai Queens is a state-of-the-art facility that provides expert care to adults and now children. The new Emergency Department is located at the corner of Crescent Street and 30th Road. At five times the size of our previous Emergency Room (ER), we are equipped to handle a wide range of health concerns around the clock, including cardiac and respiratory emergencies, abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, infections, and any issue requiring emergency care.

Stroke Center, making Mount Sinai Queens the first choice for stroke patients. Mount Sinai Queens is a Level 2 Trauma Center.

The new ER features a combination of private rooms, patient bays, a cardiac and critical care trauma room, and a separate pediatric emergency area. Our patients’ experience, including reduced wait time, is a top priority.

Our first-rate nursing staff is the only one in Queens to receive the prestigious Magnet® designation for nursing excellence.
