Innovation and Collaboration With Mount Sinai:

Research Cores, Data, and Technology

Mount Sinai’s culture of innovation and collaboration has made it one of the country’s most prestigious research institutions. As one of New York City’s largest academic medical systems, with more than 9,000 physicians working across seven hospitals and more than 350 research labs, the Mount Sinai Health System provides an interdisciplinary environment for some of the world’s most talented researchers to do their work. These experts are aided and supported by an outstanding complement of research cores— including the Dean’s Centers of Research Excellence (CoREs)—patient data resources, clinical trial capabilities, and advanced technologies. The following is a list of the resources available to our external collaborators, which offer powerful tools for discovering and testing new drugs, large, diverse patient data and biobanks, robust clinical trials and advanced labs and imaging capabilities, and more. All share a single mission—to help solve the most complex problems in research and clinical care. Click on the hyperlinks  for more information about specific programs.
